New Payment Option with Interac Online (As of Winter 2010)
Superleagues and Pointstreak have teamed up to provide Interac Online integration with our registration process. This will allow people who don't have a credit card to still make their payment securely and seamlessly from their personal bank account during the online registration process.
All you need to use Interac Online is a bank account with online banking access from any of the major banking institutions. Learn more about paying with Interac Online.
Please note that this option will replace our "Pay by Cheque" option in our registration process. Due to this new option and the increasing NSF cheques payments, SUPERLEAGUES WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CHEQUES FOR REGISTRATION PAYMENTS. If you are unable to pay by credit card or Interac Online, you must contact the office to make arrangements to pay by cash.
$5 Spare Registration Fee (As of Winter 2010)
The testing of our free spare registration process over the last three seasons have revealed a high volume of spares who are being registered with a substantial cost. We are billed $5 per player by Pointstreak, which has cost the league several thousand dollars over the year. We have recently negotiated a new deal with Pointstreak to not charge us for players who play 3 games or less (we tried for 5) during the regular season. We then asked the team reps (who attended the meeting) if they would prefer to lower the Free Spare limit to 3 games instead of 4, or charge each spare a $5 registration fee to cover the costs. It was voted to try the new $5 fee option. This only affects teams who use the Individual Team Registration option. Teams who register using the TLR option will not be affected.
New Team Fee Option (as of Fall 2009)
Team reps now have the option of paying a flat team registration fee instead of the individual player fee. This option allows the team rep to take responsibility for the entire team registration fee and distribute the debt to his teammates using Pointstreak's Locker Room tool. More information on how this works can be found at Pointstreak's TLR Help page. Here is a summary of the differences with this option from the individual fee option:
